Sea Slugs & Driftwood
NUDS are our local nudibranchs (sea slugs).
This collective brings together a playful and thoughtful exploration of Scotland’s coastal and marine life through printmaking, woodturning and textiles.
Owain and Dana create lino prints inspired by nudibranchs (sea slugs), cuttlefish and other marine life they have encountered off the Scottish coast. Their work celebrates the often-overlooked beauty and character of these underwater creatures.
DriftWUD is a collection of turned wood pieces celebrating the individuality of driftwood. Callum collects pieces washed up along the coast and turns them at a community workshop in Musselburgh.
Bella creates cross-stitch pieces featuring animals that live in and around the sea, stitching them onto a range of objects including book sleeves and T-shirts.
