Lino Prints & Illustrations
Lorna Johnson creates hand printed lino prints and illustrations which explore folk lore, mythology, plant lore and storytelling and are inspired by nature. Alongside this she offers some of her hand carved designs on a selection of organic cotton clothing and textiles.
Lorna has been working with different Printmaking techniques on and off for the past 15 years and has a BA(HONS) Degree in Printmaking and New Media. Over the years she has enjoyed delivering printmaking workshops in Edinburgh collaboratively with Look and Draw which is currently ongoing. For the past 8 years Lorna has been one of the volunteers at Hidden Door Arts festival, and over the past 4 years she has been in charge of developing their merchandise and also offers them bespoke hand printed items for the festival.
