This is Lisa Mallon’s thirteenth time taking part in the Colony of Artists. Originally from Ireland, Lisa moved to Edinburgh after university almost 18 years ago. She studied graphic design at university.
Over the years she has exhibited oil paintings, novelty lamps, self portraits, 3D origami and even animation. This year she has been learning felting.
As well as selling her novelty food themed polymer earrings, ‘Handmade by Lilou’ will be branching out into other crafty novelties and oddities, including animal themed plant pots, homemade flowers and Christmas decorations.
