Monika Niemczynowicz works with both analogue collage and digital imagery. Her work has elements of surrealism and fairy tale, and is often inspired by the imagery emerging in dreams. She draws from the natural world, marrying the images of plants, animals and people to create surreal and magical scenes. She uses her own photographs, scans of old daguerreotypes, archival images and illustrations of natural history to create bizarre dreamlike worlds with the means of Photoshop.
