Dawn’s artwork focuses on nature and animals and she explores this theme using colour and texture. She primarily creates print work. She loves the versatility of the print making process and combining the techniques of screen printing, lino cut, drypoint and collograph. She especially loves the fact that the final images she produces are in part informed by the actual process used to create them, and the fact that each single print is individual, with the final image only revealed after it has been through the press. The main aim with her work is to reflect the world around us through a personal perspective using the medium of ink.
Dawn studied Architecture at the Kent Institute of Art and Design.
